  • The Betty Gage Holland Memorial Award 2006 – National investigative reporting award from the Cox Institute in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
  • Society of Professional Journalists – First place for investigative reporting from the Inland Northwest Chapter in 2005. Third place for editorial writing, Inland Northwest Chapter in 2006. Third place for in-depth reporting in 2005 and second place for breaking news reporting in 2007 from Region 10.
  • Edward R. Murrow School of Communication at Washington State University – 2007 and 2008 Outstanding Achievement in Journalism, Undergraduate.
